Miriam Delicado recently spent time at Hopi with the Traditional Hopi Elders. Her time there advocating for Hopi water rights led to the historical first ever public statements from the Traditional Hopi Elders coming forward to speak to the world on the importance of the planet's water supply and the issues the Hopi people are facing with their own water supply. Miriam Delicado joins Bernard Alvarez today for discussion on her time there and the attempt of the US Federal government to buy the Hopi water rights.
