Dear friends,

As many of you whom have been here for a while already know, GIC has been struggling to maintain a functioning and informative web community for several years now, all the while providing you with exciting, informative, thought provoking and useful tools for personal empowerment. Now to add to the already constant financial burden in keeping GIC running, Ning, our GIC host is removing all non Premium networks and creating a new pricing structure for Premium hosting of which we can not afford with the present contributions we receive. I am sad to announce GIC will be sold or removed from existence if we cannot entice our Members to begin contributing financially on a monthly level to meet the monthly expenses.
Please understand that our monthly expenses are not that high. Its cost's us only about $100 dollars a month to pay for our web maintenance costs, including, hosting and other minors.
I myself, Dr. Bernard use all revenue I generate from our You Tube partner channel to pay for rent, food, clothing and licensing fees for our videos to be published. ( My personal income is less than $700 a month to cover all of these. I'm following my calling and am happy to be doing it.)
While I am more than happy to do this and have no need for more than the basic necessities in life, I have now come to a pivotal moment and realization that, I just can't afford to do this alone financially anymore. We've been blessed to have a great Team on the radio show and here on the GIC.org website AND we DO have 2 monthly contributors that offset a minor amount of maintenance costs of which I am sincerely grateful. Its just not enough...
As in all things in life, energy must be exchanged and people must make a living. ( Please note: I, Dr. Bernard, work a minimum of 80 hours week for GIC and its interest's, for less than 700 dollars a month, happily. I just can't do it alone any more.) Over the years I have worked several thousand hours to create GICTV, theGIC.org, our Youtube Channel and all 250 some odd videos in its library, our blogs, Radio station and all is broadcast's and original shows, every graphic, word and program. Again, through inspiration, love and a calling.
So I beseech each of you. If you LOVE GIC as many have come to, please become a monthly contributor. Its only $9.99 a month and if we can get JUST 7 to 10 of you to do this we CAN and WILL remain to keep doing what we're doing and do it even better!
We have 30 days from today before the next wave of charges for GIC begin again. Lets do this. I know we can! Be it a one time donation, a monthly contributor or an annual (large sum), your small contribution will make this happen.

And by all means a big round of applause for our all volunteer staff. They make it happen. :-)
