OH My God! ♥•ஜ۩۞۩☆☮✿♥•♥•
"Oh My GOD!" is one of my children's (and thier friends') favourite sayings...
Why? Where do they hear it from? They don't even realise they say it sometimes.
In fact A LOT of people use this phrase (even me on occasion)
I've heard people say 'Don't take the lord's name in vain' and they get offended.
The key word here is 'MY' God ... as it means something slightly (sometimes a lot) different to everybody.
I feel I had 'religion' shoved down my throat slightly when I was young... it was everywhere - TV, School, Relatives Jobs, Friends etc. NOT every religion just Christianity/Church of England.
Not suprisingly, I rebelled against it... the word GOD anyway. Thinking 'he' was a judgemental man sitting on a cloud somewhere telling us what we should and shouldn't do and choosing whether or not we should go to heaven or hell!? Also the question...'If there is a God why do bad things happen to good people'?
My parents weren't particually religious, they just went through the motions - for example; christmas, easter, going to church every rememberance sunday, sending religious cards to relatives etc.
As I grew up I saw 'religion' causing more wars, anger, hate, conflict in the homes - but despite this I have always had an obsession with churches and people 'having faith in something'.
The word 'God' (and my feelings towards him/it) was so deep rooted in me that when I started remembering my soul path/finding my spiritual side, I still couldn't say the word and feel good, it would get stuck in my throat.
After A LOT of remembering and meditating.... I understand NOW that everything in the Universe (and beyond) is made up of energy, frequency, we are ALL connected....we are All One ♥ ONE LOVE ♥
Life/Creation is DUALITY = everything has both Male and Female energies to it, Yin and Yang... where there is Light there is Dark...etc. It is just the BALANCE of these in our lives that we have to perfect.
This is also the case with the word God = (TO ME) it is the Source of all things/creation... an energy based source.
It is God and Goddess, Male and Female, both are Divine Energies.
Also a Prayer = Intention + Thought ... simple and very effective. The power of our thoughts are immense.
Our thoughts are influenced by our emotions .... we need to get back to basics and LOVE more ♥
'Karma' and 'Reincarnation' is a whole other topic and is deeply connected to the question 'Why do bad things happen to good people?' in my opinion.
I would advise people reading this to look into any subject that 'jumps out at them' (that they resonate with) ... it's fascinating stuff!
I could go on and on about this subject but my point has been discussed and I hope it clarifies a couple of things about my usage of the words and concepts I may use in my daily life nowadays.
Each to thier own I think... remember to respect different individuals beliefs systems and use discernment.
As long as we are not hurting anyone else with our beliefs/idea's then there is no problem in my mind.

And as< Dcontinue to think to myself is love enoughf, and is faith and i see that is some thing you have beliefe in. And also i ponder. THANK YOU!!! ALL TO SEE IS LOVE.. HEY THE BEETLES SAID IT ALSO ALL U NEED IS LOVE..
