Obama Halo Effect

The other morning upon reading a corporate news Media "article" on Obama I couldn't help but notice how obvious the halo was behind him.. After doing some research I found several more photographs of this effect behind Obama... Is it subliminal brainwashing? Probably...Is Obama aware of this? Probably. Will we continue to hail Obama as a savior? Probably. Do you have the power to rinse your mind from what ever brainwashing seeped in during the '08 elections. YES you do... Decide for… Continue

My Hometown making me proud! Florida Bar Will Support Gay Adoption

Florida Bar Will Support Gay Adoption

The Florida Bar is coming out in a big way — for gay adoption.

The Bar’s board of governors voted unanimously to file an amicus brief before the 3rd District Court of Appeal supporting a Miami-Dade circuit judge’s ruling that declared unconstitutional the state’s ban on gay adoptions.

“We thought it was appropriate to defend the judge’s decision,” said Nancy Gregoire, a family section member and a partner with Kirschbaum… Continue

Help Sen. Leahy Make Bush Truth Commission a Reality

: Aaron Pendell

When last we left Senator Patrick Leahy (D - VT) he was still fighting the good fight: persuading the US Senate to create a "truth commission" tasked with uncovering the questionable behavior of the Bush administration. Leahy's efforts have been squeezed out of the spotlight as of late, occupied presently by the populist outrage ignited by the AIG bonus scandal. It's time to bring the Leahy's commission back into focus, and… Continue

You Call it Easter, We Call it Ostara

The egg is one of the most notable symbols of Easter, but, as someone who was raised Catholic and who was never told exactly why we colored eggs at Easter, or why there was a bunny who delivered candy to us, or…

Ask the President

President Obama rode into office on a promise of running the "most transparent administration in history." His transition website was definitely a good first start—encouraging Americans to engage and ask questions of then President-elect (with the ability to vote on them up-or-down). Press Secretary Robert Gibbs even answered many of the more popular ones.

Today, Care2 is really proud to be a part of a new left-right coalition called “Ask the… Continue

posted by: Steve W.

The Human Rights Council (HRC) have launched a new website called End The Lies, aiming to combat the "anti-LGBT voices" and to "counteract them with a respectful dialogue and grassroots action", as its manifesto reads.

Our Inner Dialogue and its External Vibration

Every morning it is my practice to contemplate the day just passed and mentally create the day I wish to manifest for myself. As I was reviewing my "yesterday" I couldn't help but notice the word "should" kept popping into my head. Not only was I "shoulda, woulda, coulda - ing" in my head but several individuals kept using the word should in their dialogue with me. It got me to really contemplate the meaning of should and the vibration associated with it.

Years ago, when I was teaching… Continue
