Severe blow to the Orion Project

Understanding BP Gulf Oil Spill (Resources)

After Massachusetts representative Ed Markey requested more transparency from BP about the scope of the ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, company officials granted public access to a live camera at the spill site. The video now streams live at the website of Markey’s Select Committee on Energy Independent and Global Warming.

As a warning, the video seems to go down intermittently, as the feed is slammed by traffic from around the world.
