Welcome to the the First Annual GIC Spiritual Activist Conference and Gathering. This Autumn, spiritual teachers, activist's, GIC members and friends will gather in Roanoke,Virginia for an intimate conference like no other before. Unlike most events of this nature where ones pays a large amount of money to listen to a dozen speakers talk abour their latest book, movie or project; this conference is all about you and how we can help each other become a better spiritual activist, blogger, webmaster, organizer, etc. ( GIC is only asking for a registraion Fee to cover cost's and services to make this event happen.)

The conference will feature YOU as well as several well known personalities (including Bernard Alvarez, Miriam Delicado and Roxy Lopez; among others to be announced.) that will share their strategies and experience.

The second half of the conference will be a workshop for all of the attendees dealing with how we can all be better at what we do and help the fledgling spiritual activist's around the world.

Vendors:
If you are interested in selling, trading or bartering your book, DVD, spiritual items, etc; we will be offering FREE space for you in the form of a "trading blanket" section on the grounds of the Gish House. You will be responsible for bringing your own blanket or table, etc. (NOTE: At your own risk, GIC nor the Gish House will be responsible for any lost, broken or damaged goods or items during the conference.) Vendors will be asked to make a love donation to GIC at the end of the conference. Limit 8 Vendors. Food and Beverage:
Each attendee will be responsible for their own nourishment. Being that the grounds of the venue are expansive and adjacent to Highland Park; we have scheduled a "picnic time" for lunch between Noon and 1PM before the MAIN conference begins. This will be our Lunch break with many restaurants in the area for you to visit or you can pack a lunch and eat on the grounds with everyone else. ALSO, A potluck style table will be set up with dishes donated by the GIC Admin. Team for those not prepared for a picnic.
Please bring snacks for the 2:30 and 4PM breaks as the conference will wrap up appoximately at 7PM. with no dinner break.

After Party:
Being this is the first time many of us finally meet each other in person, we are scheduling a "Cash Mob" at one of the local entertainment venues who could use a little help so we have time to talk, enjoy each others company and help a local business in need. Location to be announced. 9PM-11PM

On Oct. 14, 2012 What better way to wrap up an activist conference than with Occupy Roanoke as they celebrate their One Year Anniversary in Elmwood Park! 12-3PM just blocks from the Gish House venue.
