(Class 2) What is a Lightworker/Starseed/Witch/Indigo

The Video series is FREE) This group is for those who wish to participate in GIC's Dr. Bernard Alvarez' ongoing lecture series. (Beginning Jan. '11) Every week Bernard will present a video class on the metaphysical arts. Topics will vary from week to week and students will be given an assignment to be completed at their own pace. Each Class and Discussion will be presented in chronological order and new students are asked to start at the beginning and take a week to practice the exercises offered therein while completing the proposed assignment.
Due to time constraints and an already overwhelming schedule Bernard will not be taking questions VIA the discussions or comments section and hopes those participating will aid one another with any particulars that will arise. With this, those who feel the need for more personal instruction, Bernard has offered to extend his consultation services for his nominal consulting fee of $25.00 for up to 30 min. for a phone consultation if you should feel the need for further explanation and discourse on a particular lesson.
PERSONAL TEACHER PROGRAM
Those interested in a more structured learning environment, Bernard has agreed to take up to 10 personal students VIA email for a monthly offering of $20.00 in which the student will receive one on one instruction and will be expected to deliver their assignments weekly.
NOTE from Bernard - I am very excited to offer everyone this new series and hope it will help answer many questions for all of you. I feel now is the time for me to get back to my roots as an instructor and share what I once shared with my own CODL group. I take my work very seriously and for those who wish to become personal students I ask that you have the following:
- Must be over 18.
- Have a reasonable grasp of the English language.
- Be willing to write in essay form.
- Have a good grasp of personal discipline.
- No overwhelming psychiatric disorders or Addictions ( I am not a shrink or drug counselor. ) Stress, anxiety and socially partying are fine.
( You can apply to be one the 10 students chosen by sending your personal email address to the GIC Contact with your name and a brief description of yourself and why you want to be a personal student of Bernard's.)

WHY I FEEL I AM A LIGHTWORKER

Since childhood, I have felt I am not part of this world. Indeed, in retrospect, I am learning anew that all of my experiences, the good, the bad and the ugly, are culminated in this moment. I did not know that psychic abilities were not the norm. Climbing a tree and talking to the stars was a refuge for me. I sailed through my primary and only education with A’s (except for a C in the 6th grade because the teacher was so gorgeous). Though I cannot recall most of the material, I do remember standing in for my geometry teacher in high school. When I was 11 years old, a spaceship landed about 100 yards outside my bedroom window. I saw greys scurrying about and one tall spindly being seemed to be in charge. I was put at ease telepathically and regained control after two hours had past in what seemed like minutes. I was diagnosed as Bipolar in my late 20’s and spent 25 years on antipsychotic, antidepressants, anti-everything to quelch inner voices, incoming voices and hallucinations. Although a group of three Genei Cucculatis visited me often throughout these years. I was an avid researcher of astrology, astronomy, numerology, ancient civilizations, mythology, religions, prophecies, dimensions, aliens, spirits. I had traveled to many sacred areas prior to what I call my Second Awakening.

Waking up these past few years is like going home. Indeed, I was guided to relocate to the South Pacific of Mexico amid ancient sites in Maya land. With the use of the internet, I have put most of the puzzle pieces together and, in turn, teach. In late 2009, should I get stuck staring at a Google search list, my cursor would swiftly choose the site for the exact information I needed. I frequently woke in the mornings focused on a topic or singing a song, my lesson for the day. I was downloaded with sacred geometry in May, 2010, danced with light bodies in my garden this past summer, developed a communication system with my spirit guides. I have seen the veil between dimensions shimmer on occasion. On a trip to Egypt in December I saw the etheric blueprint of Giza, I laughed out loud and danced with 100’s of orbs circling me.

I AM, we are Lightworkers, the one we have been waiting for and we are raising ourselves up out of the lower vibrations. I Am manifesting full consciousness everyday, no fear, with Love. I welcome the incoming energies and frequencies and I Love the magic. But I still have the question, “what is my mission?”. Information is coming on fast and furious and I love those Aha moments. In my dreams, I can fly again and I go places, mostly on “rescue missions”. Tomorrow I will be swimming with the dolphins in the ocean. I am spending more quiet time this month, in consciousness with all of you. Lots of Love,

My First Essay.....

I am a Grateful, Awakened, Light worker

Why do I consider myself to be a Light worker? Now that’s got me thinking. I now consider myself to be a very grateful, awakened light worker but I haven’t always felt this way. It has taken a lot of life experience, dedication, patience and love to arrive at this beautiful state of mind.

I was born a light worker (as we all are) but growing up I was unaware of this amazing gift. I have always been grateful for life, love, family and friends but sometimes I got lost and confused along the way, usually by outside influences. Through these difficult and thrilling years I have learnt so much – from studying, books, films, TV, inspirational people, travelling the world and soaking up whatever life has thrown at me like a sponge. My awareness of something bigger was growing faster.

As an early adult I craved love, trust, happiness and searched for it for years, but in all the wrong places. I stayed optimistic and grateful throughout for everything I had. The more things were taken away from me the more I searched for myself. Until I couldn’t physically, emotionally and mentally function anymore.

I didn’t give up the search...I decided I was worth more than that. A light in me started shining again, with the help of family and friends I grew stronger and more determined to understand all of my experiences. By doing this I found I helped others along the way. When I smiled they smiled. When I laughed they laughed with me (or at me, I didn’t mind either way) It was catching, I loved it. I was me again - this was my awakening.

So I find myself forever grateful, thankful and in love with the universe for helping me to follow my true path in life. I am a light worker. I don’t have to live in fear anymore, I can do anything I set my mind to and I encourage others to do the same. Life is a gift and the sooner we all follow our bliss, the sooner there will be Peace on earth.
