Problem with the Secret ?
But the whole problem with "The Secret" is that
it lacks a critical part: TAKING ACTION!
All the confidence, visualization, and positive
thinking in the world is not going to help someone
who won't get off their tail and DO something.
If you expect "the Universe" to "manifest" something
you're not willing to take action towards getting,
you're going to be waiting a long time.

As someone who has watched The Secret movie, and implemented the principals, I would say that Zachary is right on target there. The Secret was designed to get people familiar with the basic principals of the quantum physics of The Law of Attraction...and that the universe was designed to work for us, and not against us. The movie does, at one point, say that it draws opportunities to you that you must then act upon...but it really doesn't stress that point of it enough. Rev./Dr. Michael Beckwith, one of the participants in The Secret movie, does say in the following film clip that The Secret is really just the beginning, and that it isn't all about material things....but more about personal spirituality...

That is so true. Then again everyone's secret is just that. Man want money, a house , a car or even a child = easy. Stop the Goverment from spraying chemtrails. Stop the governemnet spending money on Chemical weapons imposible. Stop the Building of underground cities imposible. Why because the rich allow to think the way they want you too. LIke your car is more impostant then the air. Your house is more important then the water. The childrend are more important then living.
The house is only as string as the base you build it on. RIGHT? We all need to start somewhere.
OH just in case many of you don't know. One of the people in the making of the secret killed people in a sweat Lodge because he was unaware where he was walking. Following a path he knew nothing about and then taking people to a place he never was.

I agree with you. However, I do believe that if you put out a vibration that matches what it is that you desire, eventually it will come to you. I have put this practice into action! If you do not keep the vibration, or switch from "already having" to "lacking" of that paticular desire, then it will not work. Keeping positive is a form of doing.
If you just sit around and expect something to come from nothing, then it will not happen.

The biggest killer against the secret is "doubt." The mental blocks we all develop that keeps us from manifesting our desires. Scripture holds true to the secret as well. "You can have anything you desire, if you so believe." But most "want" yet lack belief they can obtain. We live in a society of "want, want, want", but lack knowledge of how to obtain beyond that. Many live paycheck to paycheck, and are trained that if they desire, they must have adequate funds in the bank to make the purchase. What we are not taught is 1. How to allow and not want. 2. How our emotions affect the outcome of what we desire to manifest. As is any magic "The Secret (intent) is the underlying foundation for witch craft) emotions determine the outcome. If someone is seeking a "love spell" to manifest their true love, but they are full of darkness from past relationships, the outcome will manifest the darkness, and not what they desire.
The "EFT" (emotional freedom technique) has been known to be helpful in clearing up negative energies, so someone can obtain vibrational alignment with what they desire. But you are right.... you cannot win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket.

The Secrete is only HALF of the law. YOU are the other half. What I mean is that when you wish for something the universe can only work WITH you, not FOR you. It is up to YOU to work for it yourself. The universe will help along the way.

I certainly felt like they only put emphasis on thinking good thoughts and everything you've ever wanted will happen. Specifically, they didn't talk about doing hard work. They implied that siting around while thinking good thoughts will make your desires come to you... Nothing happens for anyone without hard work...
